This program is designed to maximize training during single sessions and will accommodate those who want to train mid-day or after school. Players are divided into groups based on ability. Tennis training includes drills, point play and match-specific situations that focus on the development of competitive strategy and mental toughness.
About Fitness training:
Each player's speed/agility, balance, and quickness on court will be evaluated and improved through the use of tennis specific footwork drills and cross-fit training. The use of bands, tubes, etc. will also be incorporated to work on strength training and flexibility. We currently are using a mix of fitness trainers.
Sessions missed due to weather, injury or illness will be applied to the next month. Month must be paid in advance. The drop-in daily rate is $60.
| 2-A-Day Academy Program: Offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
This is a more extensive version of our 1-a-day program. It enables players to get in the extra training they want while still attending school. It also provides a more diverse group of players to train with since these players are incorporated into the full day program attendees during the first two hours and then they will integrate with the players who come in for the evening session. Players are divided into groups based on ability. Tennis training includes drills, point play and match-specific situations that focus on the development of competitive strategy and mental toughness. Training includes technical, tactical, physical, mental and emotional development. Each player’s speed, agility, balance, and quickness will be improved through the use of tennis-specific footwork drills and plyometrics. This program will be under the supervision of Bill Clark, who will establish the daily lesson plans and developmental programs for each player, as well as goal-setting and tournament scheduling to provide a well-defined developmental pathway. Bill will work closely with our highly-trained, skillful and enthusiastic coaching staff to make sure that everyone is working toward the goal of improving all aspects of the player’s game.
About Fitness training:
The 2-a-day players will have the same on-court fitness as described in the 1-a-day schedule with a duration of 45 minutes.
Option 2
This program is an elite training program and players must be fully committed. Therefore all payments must be made at the beginning of the month. The drop-in daily rate is $110.
